Hey monkeys! You all are probably aware about that horrible earthquake New Zealand has had and that's where Minimonos is set up. It happened at ChristChurch at nearly 1:00 pm New Zealand time. It hit 6.3 on the rictor scale. The damage is much worse then the September one 5 months ago. The problem with this quake is that it caused much more damage. So your probably wandering why this place has had 2 earthquakes so close within each other? Well unfortunatly ChristChurch is an earthquake prone area because they have a plate that constantly moves.

I am shocked that this earthquake is happened especially for the people who have lost their loved ones.

Right now: STAY SAFE NEW ZEALAND!

Minimonos Green Banana!

Hey Monkeys! Check this out!

New monkeys can get Green Banana When they start!!

So how do I get it?? First you need to signup with a new monkey on Minimonos.

Next you click on the Green Banana icon at the top of the screen.

Now you will get a map of tasks you need to do to earn it.

YOU CAN DO THEM IN ANY ORDER!!

Task 1: Decorating your treehouse.

To do this all you need to do is click on your treehouse icon on the bottom of the Minimonos Screen.

Next when it loads click on the treasure chest and you will have somestarter items.

Then click on the ones you want and your done!

Task 2: Changing Color

To change color you goto the colour me store OR you can click on the Green Banana and click on the monkey getting a haircut. Once you have selected your color clickon the green tick and click yes (Black and Gold are for members only). And your done!

Task 3: Talk to Einstein

This is one of the easiest tasks all you need to do is walk up to Einstein and talk to him! He is found in the robot area where you can make your own robot!

Task 4: Monkey Flight

This is a fun game on Minimonos where you can earn banana chips! Once you finish a game you will have done more progress on your green banana!

Task 5: R.A.T.S. This is also an awesome game where you can get chips and materials to build your own robot! Once you have finished your game your progress will go up!

FINAL TASK: Grow, this is a fun game where you grow starwberries! Oh in case I forgot just talk to the monkey there for the instructions of the game! Once you have done this youwill get your shirt, 5 shells, an icon next to your name and flag! Here is the message:

To tell you the truth I think it is an awesome update and older monkeys instantly get green banana! I think it is awesome and an easy way to get some things for free for those new monkeys!

Minimonos Robot Pets are Here!

Hey monkeys!

Have you seen some robots around the island and you are unsure how to get one? Well this is the guide for you!

We ALL know that robots are a must for monkeys on Minimonos, even Marco has his very own pet!

So how do I get a pet?

It is fairly simple play R.A.T.S and Gogo Green in the Recycling center and you will receive materials. Or you can buy shells to get a robot but I think getting materials is a funner way :)

Once you have gotten materials goto Einstein's Lab which you can get to quickly on the map and walk down into the place with the gear icon.

Have a look at the sweet room!

Next talk to Einstein and click get my pet.

Right now there are 4 robots, The Gyrobot 3000 (non-member), Ultro 3030 (gold members), Boltz (gold members) and CP FLINT 1001

It will tell you the required materials you need and it's status. Speed: How fast your robot travels. Payload: How quick it charges. And Efficency: How long it battery lasts. Once you get one it will follow you until you click it and select go home.

When it's battery runs out it will go to your treehouse (inside) and sleep (shutdown) what you need to do is recharge it. But it only takes a few minutes! To charge you need to click your robot and then click go charge. Once you've done that you can view how long your robot has left in the charging machine (the grey box)

Note: Your bot won't lose battery in your treehouse! And you only have a certain amount of recharge energy! It will refill overtime.

Now that you have a robot you want to use it right? Well when you make it 'Follow Me'

You can control it! Just click on the control lever that will pop-up when you walk with it and it will turn green and the lever will go down AND you can choose where to move it! And you can even make a spotlight by pressing the button on the right!

Hey monkeys! There is a new Valentines Day Power! It is available to everyone and it is free! To use it all you have to say is Happy Valentines Day! And hearts will appear.

Valentine updates!

Hey monkeys! There has been some awesome small updates on minimonos!

First of all there are some new messages in your journal! Einstein has nearly finished his invention that is top secret! I wander what it is but right now all he is telling us that if we recycle lots we will be glad so keep recycling in the R.A.T.S and GoGreen game to earn materials!

One last small update is that you can make Valentine Cards and send them to your friends just like your holidays one! You can make it by clicking on the card with the heart icon in your treehouse. Here is one I made:

Monkey Of the Week!

Here is the post for Monkey Of The Week by Viper

It's time to announce the Monkey of the Week!! Lets give a huge congratulations to.....Morty!

Morty is one of the most ancient players on MiniMonos, who is really friendly and helpful to new monkeys and is very active on MiniMonos! He has been around MiniMonos since January 2010!

Morty LOVES to play R.A.T.S and I can't even remember how many times he has been in the highscores for being one of the top 3 monkeys to recycle the most items every week! xD

He also loves having fun and simply hanging out with his friends and new players. ^.^

We think he totally deserves to be Monkey of the Week! Make sure to say congrats to Morty when you see him around MiniMonos! :D

I really think that his treehouse is monkey-tastic! I even took a picture of his treehouse and was about to put it here,and went to double-check and he had changed his treehouse! He surely must be updating it a lot! Great Job, Morty! (And Sonic4572!...JUST KIDDING XD)
