Special lion party this weekend!

This week on Minimonos there is going to be a special lion party this weekend to help out the Born Free Foundation. The Born Free Foundation is an international wildlife charity that works throughout the world to stop individual wild animal suffering and protect threatened species in the wild. So be sure to grab your lion suit at Traderz. For every lion suit purchased at Traderz, £1 will be donated to Born Free!

Ecomom is passing over the baton!

Ecomom, Minimonos community manager is going to be moving to Australia and no longer will be the community manager. She will still be coming on Minimonos as AussieEM and she will be finishing as being community manager on Wednesday UK/US time (that's today).
All I can say is a bid THANK-YOU EcoMom on behalf of everyone on Minimonos. You have done so well with helping us and many other banamazing things you have done and achieved when you were the community manager on Minimonos. We will all miss you and we hope you have a great new life in Australia and can't wait to see you around on the island.

Epic Monkey Games have begun!

After around a week of waiting the epic monkey games have begun! Woot!!!
There is a new scratch and find you can do while logging in, which shows you the epic monkey games :D

If you head to Bimini Rocks you will notice that it has changed a bit be sure to sign up under what country you are in!

Once you have done that you can check out the leader board for all the countries involved.

 

As well as that there is a new event that is opened once every 2 days. You can earn medals for it and there is 3 levels of medals; Wood, Jade and Gold. You can earn 1 of each for every event so get playing!

At the current stage there is 1 event released which is called Free Dive. You can find it in LeatherBack Lagoon. In this game/event you have to swim downwards and collect bubbles so you can swim further. It is 300 for Wood, 450 for Jade and 600 for a gold.

A storm is approaching!

I looked through the telescope at the Leatherback Lagoon today and I noticed a very bad storm is coming!

I wander what will happen looks like we will have to wait and see!

Football fever has kicked off at butterfly meadow!

Woah! What has happened to butterfly field? Football has arrived in Minimonos :D
There is all sorts of new things and there is a new scratch and find:



A new banner has appeared in the castle beach and when you click on it, it will take you to the new Butterfly Meadow!


You can play a game with your friends or watch others play some football in the stands!


There are also some shirts you can buy that is for gold members they are a football player shirt and a referee shirt.

You may also notice that there is a sign for design a football contest is you click on it, it will take you to the contest post or you can CLICK HERE

Queens Jubilee Balloon

Queens Jubilee Celebration!

Heya monkeys!

The Queens Jubilee celebration is finally here! There is tons of AWESOME new things in to Minimonos!

First the new scratch and find:

Oh also you can even click on the balloons and they bounce around, I thought it was pretty fun!

                                                      

One last decoration you can interact with, when you click on the furnace with the sphere, it changes color, from white, orange red and blue :D

                                            

As well as all these amazing decorations there are many items and costumes for this event like England flag shirt and shorts (gold only), a jubilee crown shirt (gold only) and a beefeater costumes that is available to everyone for a cheap price of 15 shells!

                                                         
                                                            

There are also some things in Bimini rocks that you can find.

A queen monkey standee that you can put your head through and if you click on the 2 furnaces next to it, you get a free x-power!

                                                            

Plus on the stand next to Delta there is a queen's flag that you can put in your tree house!

                                      
                                                             

One final thing. There are new x-powers; go crown jewels and go corgis. Have fun with these monkeys!

Mysterious ship and Orbventure for everyone!

Hey monkeys,
5 days ago Orbventure is now allowed for all monkeys! I will hopefully create a guide for it soon. Here is the postcard Minimonos sent us:


In Leatherback lagoon there is a new game board like in monkey fist and R.A.T.S and GoGoGreen!

On another note there are telescopes at the long beach, castle beach and Leatherback lagoon. When you click on them they will build like in Upcycle and you can look through them :D

All of them just show water but the telescope in the lagoon has something in it:


It looks like a cargo ship is heading to the Minimonos island!! What does this mean? What exciting events will happen? Guess we'll have to wait and see!
