New minimonos opinion pole!

Hey monkeys!

Today I just found out there is an opinion pole (I know its a bit late but still). This allows you to say your opinions, for instance 1 question it asks is what are your favourite online games. It is located in the Time Square.

As well as that once you submit an opinion you get 50 banana chips! How cool is that?

I see you're still new to MiniMonos, but yet you've accomplished so much! Do you have any advice for new monkeys looking to do the same?

Hmmm...well the Christmas Holidays helped! :) I had a lot of time. You have to keep trying and trying, it's all about patience!

Where's your favorite place to hangout on MiniMonos?

It has to be Hana Cove. Its always where the best parties are. It was also where I met some really cool Monkeys… like you!

Have you played the new game, Chalk It Up, yet? What do you think about it?

I love math, so it was great to see a maths game. Ive already completed Level 7! :)

Cool! What's your favorite mini game on MiniMonos?

The best game I think is GoGoGreen. You have to be quick and look for the patterns. But there are no Top Caps for it yet (that's a hint!)

Hehe nice hint! I see you have 62 Top Caps! That's a lot! How'd you earn them all so quick?

I love arcade games. Just be quick, check the rules, see what you need to do, and play for a specific cap in mind.

New minimonos game! Chalk it up!

Hey monkeys!

Recently Minimonos has added some cool updates the first you'll notice is the new 'Scrath & Find' on the login screen:

The next thing is that there is a new flag at the landing beach advertising chalk it up you can either walk there, click on the flag or use your map to get to the game (It is located in Einstein's lab) To play it click on the chalk board.

Once your in it this screen will appear:

Click on play and a level selection will appear you start from level 1 and through to level 7 they get harder as you go along. You can also earn bottle tops for this game!

Click on the level you want to play and you'll instantly be in a game you will see a whole bunch of things but focus on the questions. All you have to do is answer whether it is true or false.

You can earn bonus points depending on how many questions in a row you get correct!

At the end of each game you get scored, shown what place you came at the end and how many banana chips you've earned :D

So thats the new game but that's not all the updates that have come around! There is a new games section on the map so you don't have to search for the room on the map How cool is that? The Info booth icon has also moved to the town area now :D

There is one last thing that has been added in these updates. You can now view how many bottle tops you and your friends have! So you no longer have to count them all! Just click on a monkey and in the top left of their card you will see a bottle top icon and a number that shows you how many they have :D

Well that's all for now monkeys! Hope you have fun with the updates :P I think it's great that there is a math game now don't you?

Woah, you have a lot of Top Caps! Which Top Cap took you the longest to earn?

I will have to say that collecting 1,000 clouds took me the longest to earn. I did manage to do it all in one day though! :D

WOW! Talking about Top Caps, I saw your MaxiMonkey cap, how is that going for you?

Being a MaxiMonkey is super fun! Ever since I have became a MaxiMonkey, I have been sending gifts to my friends who are new to MiniMonos.

Cool! What's your favorite game to play with new friends?

I always invite them to play Tic Tac Poo with me. If they go slow I try to go pretty easy on them!

LOL! Tic Tac Poo is so hard for me! Any tips?

Sometimes I just click randomly :P! You just have to keep your eye on the target, click, and throw!

Minimonos Bonus Bash!

Hola Monkeys!

Minimonos has just released a really AWESOME update!!!

It is a new way to earn bonus' on Minimonos! It is calledBonus Bash!

You can find this 'game of luck' at the Info Center which you can get there by going to time square then into the 'blimp' or just click on the 'i' on the map.

You get some epic bonuses for it! But you can't just play it right away, you need tickets to play this game. Depending what ticket you have depends and what your prize will be (Gold Ticket is the best ticket you can get)

Here is a list of all the tickets and how to get them:

Bronze Ticket: Invite 1 friend to Minimonos. How easy is that?
Silver Ticket: Someone signs up for and says you invited them to Minimonos in the 'Who invited me' box when you signup
Gold Ticket: Either you or the person who said you invited them buys gold membership, shells, or banana chips

Here are all the tickets prizes from lowest (bronze) to highest (gold)

Once you play your monkey will jump and the hammer will hit and depending where to bar hits is what you get!

Hope you like this update monkeys! It is a great way to earn more rewards! I hope there will be contests to earn tickets from Minimonos that would be awesome!

Minimonos Fun's Pirates vs Ninjas Pary review!

Hey monkeys!
On Saturday, May 21st there was an epic Pirates vs Ninjas party! I was on the ninjas side hehe
It first started out when Banatastic came online and told us the rules of the flag raid then Minijgh took it from there. The flag raid went for 15 minutes and everyone was trying to keep their side dominant. To do the flag raid we went to our base then clicked on the chest. After that you goto a room with a flag that doesn't have your team's icon on it then you goto the flagpoll and click the icon.
In the end it was a tie! We had so much fun during the raid and hopefully we'll have a re-match later ^^
After the tie was announced we played 'Monkey Fist', 'Rainbow', 'Guess The food' and last but not least find the mattybon for 10 shells! I'd like to congratualate ALL the winners he did a bananatastic job on those games!
(The winners were Mcdonalds, BananaRama, TommyPP, Wohoo & last bt not least Cade77!!)
Cade kindly donated his shells to have a contest in stead which I reckon was really nice :) Goto his blog Minimonos Experts to see the contest for them!

The Winner of the Best Ninja:
BannanaRama!
Bannanarama was ultra mega active for this party. Bananarama was putting up flags even before the party had started and really helped the ninjas out! He also won some shells and had a very good sprtsmanship :)

Minijghrocks and the other moggers had such a hard time deciding on who to pick there were 2 best pirates!
Tommypp
Tommypp was also vwery active during the party. I always saw him trying to defend a flag I kept trying to defend as well during the raid (I just got it xD) He was going crazy as well and a real helping hand for the Pirates. Tommpp even won a giveaway for shells!

The second pirate that got this award was....
Bluezy
Bluezy was very good at the party! Espicially at the flag raid. He had bought the xpower 'go team' which helped him out a lot in the flag raid so he used it to keep the pirates in the game (if he was on ninjas we would've won I bet because he was that good). He claimed a room for the whole party even! He also threw off Bananatastic!

Congratulations yoou 3 monkeys!

Well the party was a BLAST and everyone who came made it that :) Thank You Minimonos Express for starting this party it was epic! And thatnk you also Bananatastic and the rest of the mods for helping monkeys at the party! And a big thank you to the Dev Team for making this party official AND getting the awesome flag raid and decorarions! We couldn't have done it without you guys!!!

When you login check out Marco who is in an Elite Pirate Costume and his Parrot who is a ninja! How epic do they look!!!!?????

I had an awesome monkey send me a message letting me know he had decorated his Treehouse... Well I went to go check it out and oh my goodness! WOW! It's one of the best ones I've ever seen!

New treehouse update and top banana!

Hey Monkeys!

There is a new treehouse update (thanks wohoo) this is an update where you can view a different monkeys journal/playercard! It is near top top of the Minimonos screen and ONLY shown when you visit a different monkeys treehouse ^^

Also there is a new top banana update! You can now view your stats on completing your top banana! Along with that you can see the epic rewards you get!!

I think this is a great update, it makes it easier to view your friends playercard. I also think this stats makes keeping track of top banana all that much easier :P I love this update even though it's small :D

New hair Styles in color me and more!

The pirates vs ninjas party is getting closer! And there is a new scratch and find!

How cool does it look?!?!

Once you login any server you can see a banner for the pirates vs ninjas party across the river, when you click it it will take you to the blog in a new window so you won't be logged out :)

Carlos has finished designing some new hair styles and now they are open to the public! AND they are both non-members so non-members can get some epic hair!

There is a new girls hair that looks like this:

Also you can now view your top banana progress :P

Which hair is your favourite? I think these updates are awesome because non-members can finally get a new hairstyle. I am going broke with bananachips xD Better start earning some more! Hey Monkeys! :D Treehouse of the week time again! Wow, I had a TON of messages from monkeys wanting me to check out their treehouses this week, which was awesome!

I have to say, it was an incredibly difficult choice for me again, but I finally settled on one I really enjoyed!

Check out this awesome treehouse which belongs to Zigs! :-D

Isn't it just amazing? Sitting on the floor, I felt as if I was actually in a pirate ship! Woah, it was rocking!

My favorite part of Zigs' treehouse has to be the map of MiniMonos Island on the left side of his house! It goes well with his pirate theme! Hmmm...wonder what Zigs is going to be at the Pirates vs Ninjas party? :-)

Overall, great job Zigs! I hope everyone has a great week, only a few more weeks of school for the U.S monkeys, I bet you're all excited!

Minimonos Mini Release & Pirate and Ninja Costume sale!

Today Minimonos had a mini release! There was a few bug fixes in it and a new addition to the journal!

In the 'News' (the yellow icon) there is a new icon at the top and it shows your shout-outs! Here is what it looks like:

And in addition the the Pirate vs. Ninjas Party pirate and ninja suits are on sale!

(3 NEW ninja costumes have been added all previous colors are RARE!!)

If your wandering where to get them they are in the special catalogue in traderz!

They are down by 10 shells so they are only 15 shells each!!! Thats a great deal!

So if you buy 50 shells you can buy 3 pirate or ninja costumes!!! So with that you save 30 shells!

But hurry though! This offer will end on may 2nd!!!

Today it's official that there is a Ninjas vs. Pirates Party! Here is the post made by minijghrocks!

"Hey monkeys! miniJghRocks here from MiniMonosExpress with some very exciting news!

For the first time in a loong time, we're having a MiniMonos party which is being organized by some of us monkeys! :D

You see, I came up with this party idea of Pirates Vs. Ninjas, then, Cade77 asked to join, so I said sure! Over the course of about a week, it became a team of 8 blogs participating! Those blogs are:

And at See You Sunday, EcoMom liked the idea so much she asked if we'd like to make the party an official MiniMonos one and post about it on the Go Bananas blog! So here we are! :D

Castle Beach will be split in half, ninjas on the left, pirates on the right:

Now, if you're a non member, and can't buy pirate clothes, or you don't have a ninja/pirate costume, simply show up and stand on the side of your team!

At the end of the party, we will have an "award" for the best ninja and best pirate! :-)

Minimonos Earth day updates!

Hey monkeys!

On top of the easter updates there are earth day updates!

The 'happy earth day' power has returned!! Yay!! When you say 'happy earth day' a green monkey icon with a blue background behind it will fly across the screen (a monkey earth to be exact)

like this:

And in some rooms a mark will appear in the grass (the same as the 'happy earth day' power) and when you say 'happy earth day' it will appear.

Oh and badgerfox has outdone himself this time. He has placed something Sooooooooo sneaky it took me awhile to figure out. (needed lots of clues from badger he he) Here it is:

1. Say 'happy earth day' in Awanga Cave

2. Click in the middle of the monkey in the grass

3. Say 'happy earth day' again

4. Click on the dark patch of the tree circled in the picture below

5. The tree will now talk :O

Wow that is an amazing tree xD Badger has given the tree life but all it says is 'Hehe! I am a talking tree!'

And last year minimonos gave out Earth trees to all the monkeys who signed up before earth day (or during) .

Maybe Minimonos will do the same this year! Will they be the same or will they be different? We will just have to wait hehe. I think the tree should give out pie quests :D (Credit to Hi for that)

Easter Updates on Minimonos!

Hey monkeys!!

Today Minimonos has released some awesome NEW updates!

Check out the journal! It has changed a lot! And it is SOOOOO awesome!!!!

The first things you'll notice is the 2 new yellow icons at the top, the one on the left is news and the one on the right is shout outs I'll get to that a bit later. Another thing is that the news is under a different tab now it is yellow.

The right icon as I mentioned before is the shoutout box this is where you can type in shoutouts for everyone to see like this:

It also automatically posts a shout-out when a monkey makes a robot or gets a new armband in Monkey Fist! How cool is that!?!?!

But this is not done for the Journal yet! In fact we aren't even half way done for the Journal updates!

There is ANOTHER new tab that is blue and it is called 'photos' this is where you can see yours and other monkeys photos that was been taken with the camera on Minimonos! Here are my photos:

And yes they are all from the beta bananza ^^

There is also monkey age now :o and you can see how many buddies you have on minimonos as well as other monkeys buddies ^^ Also you can view your print cards in your journal and it is a clearer and bigger icon then before :D

Hehe I have more buddies than Bananatastic. And if you think I am old you should see Alphamonkey's monkey age and a few more monkeys have above mine hehe.

There are also a few things added to settings (options) they are enable sound, and language.

Oh and one last thing you can now have best buddies on Minimonos this will separate them from your normal buddies and I think it is great. And when you best buddy someone they have an 'explosion' symbol behind their name and it looks awesome!!

And thats the journal updates done he he.

WAIT DON'T LEAVE YET THERE IS STILL MORE!!!

The are 2 new powers they are 'egg hunt' and 'eggs forever'.

And one last thing... Bunnies forever is back! It is a cool power that was from easter last year.

Oh and badgerfox has been sneaky AGAIN and has hidden a pie here are 2 hints: It is in a wet place with a camp fire. And pierates is the code for it he he.

Speaking of pierates there are some AWESOME new pirate costumes in Traderz and in many different colors (valued at 25 shells each) and if you have a Ninja costume they are gone so they are now RARE! Make sure you get a tiger costume to help support the WWF foundation and speaking of the WWF foundation there is a movie called 'Born to be Wild' it is about 2 girls who take care of oran-utans and elephants!! (that was a bit off topic but still it is a great story :D)

And the last but not least update is the new robot! It is called the CPT Flint 1001. (It is a parrot robot) and it is SOOOOOOOOO cool! I love it! Make sure you grab one! Oh and if you walk it and have a pirate costume it may sit on your hat.... he he....

Firstly there is a new scratch & find login screen! AND there is an awesome sign in Landing Beach! When you click on it, it will show you a party and you have to find cannons!

Check out the new icons and chat log!

Woah a camera! You can now take pictures on Minimonos! All you need to do is click on the camera icon then press the + or - button if you want to adjust the size and then click the red button and it will be saved in a picture log on the right side!

WAIT! There is more! Goto to the Long beach just left to the Caste beach and there are some AWESOME decorations! Can you help me get out of the shark? D:

Hello Monkeys,

On behalf of the MiniMonos team, I wanted to share with you the exciting news that all of us MiniMonos monkeys will be participating in Earth Hour 2011!

The purpose of Earth Hour is to raise awareness about how much energy we use each day. People from all around the world are asked to turn off lights and other electronics.

As New Zealand is the first country in the world to celebrate Earth Hour, MiniMonos will be participating in Earth Hour based on the New Zealand time zone!

This means that the MiniMonos servers will be switched off for one hour on Saturday, March 26 at 8.30pm in New Zealand.

In Monkey Standard Time, this is Saturday, March 26 at 12.30am!

Minimonos 1st birthday!

Hey guys!

Minimonos is in beta at the moment and it was in beta just nearly 2 years ago now. But. I can't believe Minimonos has already been 1 year in beta! Woot!

To celebrate Minimonos is going OUT of beta!

Japan earthquake!

Hey monkeys! on Thursday the 11th of march Japan had a terrible 8.9 earthquake at around 2:40 pm local time. It is the worst earthquake Japan has ever had in its history and it is so big tsunamis are going to effect ALL of the pacific region.

I feel so sorry for everyone effected especially Japan.

I hope everyone there will be OK and I wish Japan safety and good times from this day onward.

HUGE MINIMONOS UPDATES!

Hey monkeys!

Today there has been some HUGE updates on minimonos!

First there are signs to direct you and to show each place this is helpful especially for new monkeys! And when you put your mouse over the sign you see monkey footprints!

Also you can see the sign from time square in the castle beach!!

Next there is a new info boof in time square! It is a great place for new monkeys to find out about minimonos AND it has an awesome lookout so make sure you say 'hi' the Will! You can also get to the info boof by clicking the 'i' icon on the map.

Next of all there are some AWESOME new xpowers! At Einstein's Lab! They are 'Go Green' 'Go Green Bananas' AND 'Go Golden Bananas' THESE NEW POWERS ARE AWESOME! And they are the ones ambassadors have so now we can buy them!! ^^ Oh did you notice the monkey's hair in the picture? I have a feeling that will be the newest hair style don't you?

And last but not least Carlos has decorated his store a bit by adding paint to the ground and an exit sign, some stickers on the cash registered and some lights for the entrance to change your colour!

Wow! These are AWESOME updates by Minimonos it most defiantly helps out the newer monkeys! This will make Minimonos funner and easier for everyone. ^^

Hey monkeys! You all are probably aware about that horrible earthquake New Zealand has had and that's where Minimonos is set up. It happened at ChristChurch at nearly 1:00 pm New Zealand time. It hit 6.3 on the rictor scale. The damage is much worse then the September one 5 months ago. The problem with this quake is that it caused much more damage. So your probably wandering why this place has had 2 earthquakes so close within each other? Well unfortunatly ChristChurch is an earthquake prone area because they have a plate that constantly moves.

I am shocked that this earthquake is happened especially for the people who have lost their loved ones.

Right now: STAY SAFE NEW ZEALAND!

Minimonos Green Banana!

Hey Monkeys! Check this out!

New monkeys can get Green Banana When they start!!

So how do I get it?? First you need to signup with a new monkey on Minimonos.

Next you click on the Green Banana icon at the top of the screen.

Now you will get a map of tasks you need to do to earn it.

YOU CAN DO THEM IN ANY ORDER!!

Task 1: Decorating your treehouse.

To do this all you need to do is click on your treehouse icon on the bottom of the Minimonos Screen.

Next when it loads click on the treasure chest and you will have somestarter items.

Then click on the ones you want and your done!

Task 2: Changing Color

To change color you goto the colour me store OR you can click on the Green Banana and click on the monkey getting a haircut. Once you have selected your color clickon the green tick and click yes (Black and Gold are for members only). And your done!

Task 3: Talk to Einstein

This is one of the easiest tasks all you need to do is walk up to Einstein and talk to him! He is found in the robot area where you can make your own robot!

Task 4: Monkey Flight

This is a fun game on Minimonos where you can earn banana chips! Once you finish a game you will have done more progress on your green banana!

Task 5: R.A.T.S. This is also an awesome game where you can get chips and materials to build your own robot! Once you have finished your game your progress will go up!

FINAL TASK: Grow, this is a fun game where you grow starwberries! Oh in case I forgot just talk to the monkey there for the instructions of the game! Once you have done this youwill get your shirt, 5 shells, an icon next to your name and flag! Here is the message:

To tell you the truth I think it is an awesome update and older monkeys instantly get green banana! I think it is awesome and an easy way to get some things for free for those new monkeys!
